I'm Akhouri Anmol Kumar. 13 years old. India.
Founder of Akhouri Systems.

1 months ago I had 0 users, 0 downloads, 0 recognition.

Today:

  • 4 Windows apps shipped
  • 120+ real downloads
  • Listed on Softpedia, Softonic(on the way), SourceForge
  • Product Hunt live
  • Google indexed

Here's everything I learned:

1. Ship ugly. Polish later.

My first ATLOCK version was rough.
But shipped > perfect.
Every update made it better.
Nothing ships if you wait for perfect.

2. Your frustration is your roadmap.

Every app I built started with frustration.
Windows Notepad β€” outdated. Built ANOTE.
Lock apps β€” bypassable in 3 seconds. Built ATLOCK.
Calculators β€” boring. Built ACALCU with 30+ themes.
Image tools β€” messy. Built APIC.

3. Distribution is harder than building.

I thought building was the hard part.
It's not.
Getting people to know you exist β€” that's the hard part.

4. Small numbers are still real numbers.

120 strangers downloaded my software.
Without knowing me.
Without any recommendation.
That number motivates me more than any view count.

5. Don't wait to feel ready.

I'm 13. I have no degree. No mentor. No funding.
I started anyway.

We build what others forgot to fix.
