I tried simplifying how people start selling online — here’s what I built

Hey everyone 👋

I kept noticing how complicated it can be for someone to start selling products online.

Between setting up a store, managing listings, and figuring out tools, it feels like there’s a lot of friction before you even sell your first product.

So I decided to try something simple.

I built a small multi-vendor marketplace where anyone can:

  • create an account
  • list products
  • and basically run their own mini store inside one platform

The goal was to reduce that initial barrier and make it feel more straightforward.

It’s still very early, and I’m trying to understand if this actually solves a real problem or if I’m missing something important.

If you’ve ever sold something online (or thought about it), I’d really appreciate your honest thoughts:

  • Would you use something like this?
  • What would stop you from using it?
  • What feels missing?

Here’s the project if you want to check it out:

Any feedback is appreciated 🙏
