AI infrastructure is evolving fast.
A few years ago, companies were only talking about “cloud computing.”
Now the conversation has shifted to:
- GPU-as-a-Service (GaaS) → Rent powerful GPUs on demand for AI training and inference.
- Model-as-a-Service (MaaS) → Access pre-trained AI models through APIs without managing infrastructure.
- Token-as-a-Service (TaaS) → Pay based on AI token usage instead of maintaining your own models and compute.
Why this matters:
- Faster AI development
- Lower infrastructure cost
- No need to manage expensive hardware
- Easy scalability for startups
- Faster experimentation and deployment
We are moving toward a future where:
- Infrastructure becomes invisible
- Models become utilities
- Tokens become the new billing unit of AI
The companies that understand this shift early will build and scale AI products much faster than others.
Interesting trend:
Cloud computing simplified servers.
Now AI services are simplifying intelligence itself.
What do you think will dominate the next 5 years:
- GaaS
- MaaS
- TaaS
- Or something completely new?
